How to Stay in Shape—Amish style!

I know, you’re busy. There’s barely time to sleep, let alone workout! And then those New Year’s Resolutions are poking us just about this time of year. You can almost hear them asking why we gave up. Didn’t many of us say we were going to be healthier and more active this year? How are you doing?

What if you could workout while you do your housework? Sweeping? Laundry? Feeding chickens? What? You don’t have chickens?

Well, hopefully this quick (Amish) exercise video will give you some ideas on how to stay in shape while keeping your house in tip-top shape.

My sister, Em, and I had so much fun making this video a few years ago and hope you enjoyed it, laughed a little, and will share it with your friends. I think just about every mom can relate to the busyness while still trying to add health and fitness into the mix. My Amish grandma, aunts, and cousins LOVE this video. They get it, too!

Now, go punch your dough, kick your barn door shut, and chop some wood.

Bis schpatah,
Elizabeth (a.k.a. Betty)
